Every January, all the sanghas in the Washington DC area come together in Fairfax to formally practice the Five Mindfulness Trainings under Thich Nhat Hanh. This is a great way to come back to yourself after the busyness of the holidays. When we sit and practice the trainings together as a community, we will find compassion for ourselves and others with more ease.
Even if you haven’t practiced before, we especially encourage you to come since our sangha events are always designed for creating a welcomed, safe and comfortable space, regardless of your experience.
