Every January, all the sanghas in the Washington DC metro area come together in Fairfax to formally practice the Five Mindfulness Trainings under Thich Nhat Hanh. This is a great way to come back to yourself after the busyness of the holidays. When we sit and practice the trainings together as a community, we will find compassion for ourselves and others with more ease.
Even if you haven’t practiced before, we especially encourage you to come since our sangha events are always designed for a feeling of being welcomed, safe and comfortable, regardless of your experience.
