The OHMC Care & Support Network (C&S) is designed to be a network of helpers to assist members within our Sangha who are going through a challenging time, be it the loss of a loved one, illness, depression or something else. We want to continue to grow and provide our practitioner community with the love and practical support that they may need at some point in their lives. This may translate into offering a ride to go to a doctor’s appointment, helping with households tasks, preparing a dinner or simply sharing a cup of tea in times in need.
Please note that there is no obligation to respond to a request for help, it depends on your availability at that moment. If you are interested in being a part of this group, please join us for a potluck gathering in the house of a fellow practitioner in the vicinity of Circle Yoga. We will send you the details once you register. For the first half of our time together we will socialize and share a meal, then we will discuss some ideas on how to be there for others and build community within the Sangha.
